Guest worker
A vendégmunkásnő elment otthonról, hogy saját felújításán dolgozzon. Befogadta az építőipar. Munkáltatói meg vannak vele elégedve, jó a munkabírása. Körbeszalagozta magát, hogy ne legyen baj. Nem pontosan lehet tudni, hogy a veszély honnan ered.
The guest worker left home to work on her own renovation. The construction industry has embraced her. Her employers are satisfied with her, she has a good work ethic. She taped herself up so that nothing would go wrong. It is not clear exactly where the danger comes from.
We are in a never-ending construction zone. We hope that one day it will be sorted out. As long as there is safety tape, it is smarter to tape everything.
Through the figure of the guest worker, I try to articulate our experiences of internal reconstruction and the daily struggles associated with losing and gaining space.
